I must say I’m not the best reader. Leading a busy life I tend to start a book and then don’t get round to finishing it. This definitely wasn’t the case with The Essence Bliss. I read it in a couple of weeks and was disappointed when it was finished! I was gripped by the story and thoroughly invested in Miss Bliss and her children.The author’s style is engaging and the lives of the characters relatable, albeit with a twist! I highly recommend this book.

After reading the first chapter, I couldn’t put the book down. The characters are very believable, the plot twist and turns and the ending wasn’t what I expected. Can’t wait for your next book.
I saw this on social media and the concept really interested me. Then from the first chapter onwards I’ve been hooked! Emotional, exciting, shocking, beautiful, and romantic. This has been a particularly well written page turner from the very start and I cannot wait for book 2!

Brilliant storyline which messes with your head. This novel has a bit of everything in it and kept me gripped right up to the last page. With a fantastic intricately descriptive writing style Emily conjures up an accurate picture in your mind but still lets your imagination run riot !

The main protagonist Isabel is hugely likeable and I found myself increasingly rooting for her as the story unfolded. The prose is accessible but well crafted. I really couldn’t recommend this book more.
Reading The Essence of Bliss has made a 2 day long car journey to the French Alps fly by! A beautifully crafted love story with a subtle, enchanting twist. Though fantasy isn’t my usual genre, the delicate infusion of magic enhances rather than overwhelms the heartfelt romance. The characters feel real, their love story rich with longing, mystery and fate. A captivating read and I cannot wait for the sequel as I’m desperate to find out what is next in store for Isabel Bliss.
